Reduce the size of the space you've got to heat....if possible. I used to split my garage in two when woodturning in the depths of winter with a thick polythene sheet which would un-rolled down from the ceiling.

I built my own garage, with no windows, cavity wall insulation, full underfloor dampproof membrane and plywooded the rafters before felting and slating. Then had an insulated door fitted. In other words it's built to housing standards and very efficient heat loss wise

how did you go abouy opening the bottle ? you didt just sove a grinder into it

 

once the bottle is empty and the coller is cut off, put the bottle on its side.

use a big monkey wrench for the valve and have someone with a metal bar through the holes at the bottom of the bottle.

valve comes off easy:thumbup:
