Hi, I am looking for some climbing/pruning shoes "on-a-budget".

Anyone tried GARMONT Vetta MNT GTX??

Any other recommedations ??

Would like to skip the steel toe cap (too cold in winter).

I've been using the werewolf boots. Very comfy and hard wearing, mine are about 3 years old, but not worn every day. Don't wear them in the winter though, they're too cold.

Sounds like your lookin for rock climbing boots to me.

Sticky soles are great to climb in for little pruning jobs.

Have u looked at the arb pros?

Not the cheapest though -but buy cheap buy twice they say

I use these for pruning on warm days(very rare in scotland)

Theyre just rock climbing boots
