Hi,

I've looking to replace my Dolmar PS410 which is struggling with the volume of work I'm using it for - logging for up to 5hrs on a mixture of hardwoods and I'm not to too comfortable with the feel of the Saw too much plastic. I have been offered a cheap Husqvarna CD480 which I like the look and feel appreciate this will be a heavier older Saw and was wondering if this was a good Saw.

I have a cd380 which I think is the same saw just a couple of years younger, it's brilliant!

Plenty of old fashioned grunt and out works a lot of my newer saws, it is quite heavy though.

There was a 480 advertised on gumtree earlier in the week, think it was advertised in Corby, 29 quid, missing chain. Probably just a coincidence.
