Clearing & Burning Specimen Thorns

We have to treat the stumps as we go immediately, good practice as you tend miss loads otherwise, the chem is sposed to be more effective on fresh cut stumps.

 

Pleased with tractor so far ready for it's first service, could of used an alpine on that dale though! :thumbup:

 

English Nature wouldn't let us take the tractor on last time, we had to park at the bottom and winch it in big bundles but they were all smaller bushes and it was a nightmare - one side of it I don't miss :biggrin:

 

Let us know about that one for the railway. :thumbup1:

We were only permitted to use the tractor on the top of the dale, usually we have to work from the bottom up, hand ball if very steep or winch down in bundles which we have down to a fine art, through years of practice!:001_tt2:
