Block Paving? Weeds and grass removal?

I got a small amount of block paving out front. I'm at the bottom of a hill and the ineffectual drains mean that not only does it get flooded with every rain shower but that water brings all the grass seed and that gets dumped and then grows!

 

Anyone got some good recommendations for killing the grass and killing the weeds. The stuff which is available at the likes of B&Q just doesn't seem to work!

Go on ebay and get some roseate 360 or the likes, gerden center stuff is so mild it's useless.

paradise or shikara - residual stuff you can mix with something to kill any weeds exising then this stuff keeps regen down. its not too cheap though does go a very long way

If you put 2 table spoons of table salt in a couple of litres of white vinegar with a splash of fairy liquid that will do it.

Take the kettle out and water the weeds with just boiled water. Guaranteed quick kill.
