Thanks,

here's a few more pics - Sold it about 6 months ago though as wasn't getting chance to use it much. Most of the estates round us will only let you into the woods between Feb and June because of their pheasants.

very "glitchy" that saws been eh

Just picked the 372 up today from the shop, seems that the running prob was down to 2 things

1) the bottom diaphragm was full of sawdust, due to a holed air-filter a while back.

2) the top diaphragm was the wrong way around. Now I dont understand this, I've never had the carb apart, and nor has the shop, so this leaves it being down to an assembly line problem.

Going to give her a blast tomorrow on some proper wood to check the "glitches" have been sorted, but after initial run-up tests it seems 100%, as a Husky should be.

I have run my 372xpg with a 24" b/c today for 5 hours blocking up some 70cm to 100cm diameter Birch and it did it fine :)

but if that kind of cutting would be something I did every day I would opt for a larger saw like a 390xpg or something in that class !!

Took down a windblown Field maple yesterday with the 372, 24" bar, sliced thru it like I knew it should run, utterly brilliant now. Seems like the glitches have been ironed out (touch wood)
