Are we all registered with the ICO?

 

A bargain at £35 to be on ANOTHER state required "list!"

 

Customer/client names & addresses constitute personal data so most businesses need to register with the ICO.

 

Luckily, we've seen enormous leaps forward in the reduction of red-tape over recent years... Er, maybe not?

If you answer none of the above, to question 7 and don't have CCTV, you're not actually required to register.

advertising, marketing and public relations (in connection with your own business activity).

 

So for core activities involved with running a business, there's no requirement - but tbh the whole thing reads a bit wishy washy and open to interpretation.

Yes, it's a bit pants really...

 

I do have CCTV, that's an immediate red card, reach for cheque book, pay the salary of some chimp to sit in an office and keep a "list."
