Full loads of larch required.

I own a small family sawmill, unfortunately local supplies of Larch have dried up (never happened before). There is still quite a lot of harvested logs stacked in forests but no sales due to lack of access.

I can organise transport and need full loads of larch, preferably seasoned not freshly harvested. Circa. 25t loads.

If anyone is aware of stock for sale, 300mm to 900mm dia. please post info. Scotland would mean cheaper haulage but would consider anywhere in the UK.

Interesting. I'm putting 30+ tdub larch roadside at present but it's all sold, people fighting over it in fact.

 

It is definitely a rare timber now, post PR. Thought it hadn't reached Scotland in a big way tho?

what sort of lengths would you be after. There might be some close to the M6 nr lancaster in the not too distant future. pm me what you are after if you would like and will see what we can sort out

me too,Im looking for enough larch for a cabin project, around 100 lengths 5mtr, 10 " dbh in sw scotland, the site is inside the management zone so no paperwork hasstles

It's pretty widespread in SW Scotland - and spreading.
