Chainsaw wont start

I have 1 more tiny tiny problem[emoji23]

 

The black grub screw dribbles out oil when the chain revs, how can i fix this? Thanks

that black grub screw should not be there, if memory serves me correct I think it should be the oil tank vent.

Your memory is spot on. Should be an [orange] vent.

 

Are you sure it is a grub screw? Squirt some carb cleaner in there for a good look.

Yes , but , If the proper breather was in place it would not . It acts like a one way valve allowing air in (so the tank does not pull a vacuum ) but no oil out .

Well I'm not sure what its called, but i went to my local arb shop and explained where the hole was and he told me to put this in there, so i assume that it is ment to be there.

 

It squirted out oil the first time i ran it but when i tan it a second time nothing came out, i was thinking Maby there was just some oil there that dripped out from before the vent was there

If you keep running it with no vent , and it has sealed , it will eventually stop oiling as the vacuum increases .
