HAve BMW finally sorted the porosity on the 3litre heads that has plagued them for ever and a day then?

My mates a bmw specialist runs a good show, he swears by these diesels I can't remember what engine code be said his putting in, Iv dropped him off an R380 gearbox and letting him get on with it

 

He said it's a 3.0 six pot turbo as the next engine up would be over kill think it was 3.5 twin turbo

 

His saying it will be 270 bhp and a loads of torque ideal for low down power for towing
