how did the tipper go when you had a load of logs on ?

 

 

diddnt even notice it had a load on! no change in sound when it was tipping-diddnt struggle a bit :thumbup: prob helps that the weight is over the rear end more because we cut the front off the original tipper bed. lets hope it doesnt bend the chassis again!

 

think i'll need to fit some heavier duty springs though for any bigger loads, or inserts

pictures for Apbell

 

landy as it stands today, in summary in the past 500miles, most in past few weeks, its had new heavy duty suspension all round-springs, shocks, bushes, shock mounts 'a' frame ball joint. new rear axle, rear diff, front and rear drive flanges, radiator, water pump, steering joints, hub seal, rear inner crossmember, 2 outriggers, drivers footwell, few more bits of welding done, new door catch mechanisms, doors close firmly, new seats, and a load of little bits and pieces

drives A1 now

 

12 months mot, 6 tax

tyres and chipbox (got the metal) are next on the list

 

i was thinking of selling, but changing my mind now as it drives lovely, then again, everything has a price :biggrin:
