Her asking price is £300 for the standing trunks and the logs.

Get the feeling she wants them gone though so sure a sensible offer would be accepted.

She was under the impression that the tree roots are valuable and there is enough leverage in there to get the buyer to remove roots too but have told her that is not the case.

I'm surprised. Yes there might be a bit of metal in there but I'd pay her 200 for the lot if they were near me and assuming it was a straight fell. Easy enough to find metal and dig it out in a tree that size. Easy enough to metal detect them where they are too.
