Weight of 1 M3 of split wood, ie vented bag

Hi all, long time lurker here. i know this has been discussed in the past, i just can't find the post. anyway the question is how much does a 1m3 vented bag weigh before drying and after. 185Kg springs to mind for dry, but i also need to know fresh cut as i need to buy a tractor ... on a tight budget

Ah this can of worms

 

I work on 1m3 of wet hardwood logs being 500kg and dry to around 350kg. Beware that a lot of 1m3 bags hold more than spec even when new and get bigger through use.

I know but need a roundabout number, its all going to be softwood if that helps narrow it down a bit

Not sure softwood is much lighter when wet just much lighter when dry.

About 300-350 when below 20% moisture. Comfortably 500kg wet. Hardwood that is.

 

Softwood will be 250kg dry tops.
