I'm after the same myself and got a quote from

http://www.industrialbulkcontainers.co.uk

This is the quote I received which I thought was too much to add onto a bag of logs price.

Many thanks for your enquiry for bulk bags. I am pleased to confirm price and specification as follows.

90 x 85 x 95cms

4 x 30cms Lifting Loops

Open Top

Flat Base

SWL 1000kgs

SF 5:1

Uncoated Fabric 2 sides and base

Ventilated fabric 2 sides only

Price: £5.90 each plus vat +carriage for 60 lots

If anyone can come up with a cheaper price I would be very interested also. Or perhaps a few of us can put in a bulk order to get the price down

Not on my own comp at the moment but I'm sure I found a website with 1 ton bags for £1.99 each. As for the net bags if you look in the back of an old Forestry and British Timber mag or the Forestry Journal there are plenty of ads for the smaller net bags.

But as above do not leave them in the sunlight. They fall to bits and then you have to repackage them in fresh bags!!

looks a good site, thanks. was size and price should i be looking at?? what is the most common size, like what you see logs in a petrol stations etc

If you want a sample, I can send you one, same size as the garage nets, available in bright orange, tho they supply green nets as well. PM me if you need sample.
