And what sort of money if you don't mind me asking? I really like the sound of the tigercut.

 

Is that a 2.5t Wacker running it?

 

 

The tigercut is a 210 but upgraded to 250mm blade they're about £3500 ish I think plus a bit for the blade uprade. It's a EZ28 running it with long dipper and extra weight op weight just over 3. It is a heavy attachment but works great just need to take a bit of care if I'm using it over the side or on slopes etc, but certainly is a good practical option for this size machine.

 

Give Approved Hydraulics a call about the shear 08447707969 I dealt with Adam and Denis there they are super helpful service is excellent and they have huge knowledge of hydraulics etc even customised a rotating grab I purchased at the same time adding removable plates to allow it to pinch like a selector grab...I'll find some pics

John, Cut this down yesterday, which is around 8" went through it no problem so yes looks like I can get the max cut.

Billy have you got a diverter valve setup for your grab and rotator? How much was the grab and rotator? And which model is it?

Yes got a diverter valve fairly common set up momentary switch on the stick default circuit grabs when I hold the switch the pedal operates rotate, cheap, easy and keeps both circuits fully proportional.

 

 

 

My grab is a Intermercato TG16 SR4 the same as Rosey Web on here no cross bar on end of tines like a biomass grab so easier to avoid contamination when feeding the chipper. Grab and rotator were about £3k with hitch plate from approved hydraulics, I'm sure if you order a shear and a grab they'll have a deal with you I'm really happy with both and the service from them.
