550xp bar

I use an 18 on mine but I think that's about its limit, also have a 15inch bar for it and makes it very zippy

Officially, Husqvarna say you can go up to 20" maximum on the 550xp.

 

I'm currently using an 18" Sugihara pro lite on mine and it's good.... but for small to medium felling and snedding I think it's best suited with a 15" bar.

 

If you're doing small stuff (coppicing/ hedging, etc) then you may find a 13" bar would be best.

Doing a fair bit of woodland felling and the 15 ive got on it just a tad to small with some of the trees even if i bore in and chace the back cut round

I had 13 or 15 on mine, mostly 13.

I tried a 20 once in time of need, but the saw didn't like it at all. It was not too bad on my 346 so it lived on that for that job (and in the shed ever since)

13" all day in the woods. Easily take down a 20" tree with the right cuts.

Run a 15" occasionally but after the 13" I find it a little slow
