Yer that is a conventional one, I used to have a kinshofer one half that width, approx 500mm.

Very useful tool to have, that'll be quite heavy on its own at full reach.

 

 

Good job I've got a big hiab then [emoji106]

 

Looking at some videos of clamshell bucket (bit sad for a Saturday night!), other ones have two halves that open up fully rather than mine that has a central pivot for the two halves.

 

Not sure if there is any pros and cons either way, as haven't used it yet. Need to change the pipe fittings to match my hiab first.
