band sharpening

Has anyone had problems getting the bands resharpened?

I've just been told by the company I use for my other machine blades & knives that bandsaw blades are classed as ripping blades and can't be resharpened.

Which I believe to be a load of BS as the same company followed up with they can supply me with new blades!

Ditto - I used Steve Cull when I had a bandsaw as well as the Ripper blades he sells.

He's a saw miller himself and uses what he sells. Sharpened by bands for around £7+vat I think it was.

Top bloke Steve, I placed an order Monday morning for 10 blades, they arrived Tuesday morning just as I was setting off for a days milling.

Great services, just like with you Rob

Cheers :) - I think cause his heart is still in his business and he enjoys and is knowledgeable about what he does.
