Hi folks, ive been searching for a bar and chain for a 3120 but cant seem to find anything shorter than 36" and i already have one of those.

I am looking for something around 26" in length. Its a .404 chain with a .063 gauge.

Can anyone reccomend somewhere that would do such a thing?

Much appreciated.

May be easier to switch to a 3/8 sprocket and get a bar that fits a 395. Only difference is the chain size between the two, same bar mount and oiler location.

May have to change from a 6 spline clutch drum to a 7 spline clutch drum - 3/8 rim not available in 6 spline.

Or you could do what I do get the Sugihara D033 , D009 bars in 3/8 what ever length needed and purchase the 404 tips and change when ever needed

Looks like Oregon only do the 404 in 24" or 36"

But you can have 3/8 in 26,28 or 30 if you want something in between.

That's what I have gone for, hopefully all sorted :thumbup1:

Thanks for the replies

Will be a lot better balanced and nicer to use.:thumbup1:
