The Kinetic splitters are more for the home owner doing a few logs at home, for commercially Splitting you need something more heavy duty, it's all down to time & money really hydraulic splitters are slow but strong, it all different shapes n sizes

I use an old wood processor called a Stanley Logger it's PTO driver and fast compared to some splitters Iv seen

It's got a guillotine and a long stroke Ram so it's an all in one Machine

Hydrocut Screw Blade. Simple, Basic and will split all woods well including frozen.

I disagree. I have a hydrocut screw splitter. It is great on most wood but recently I found it to be crap on Ash which even when split hung together as it was quite stringy. Otherwise it is a great splitter, simple, strong and quick

Agreed. I've also had problems with ash and having to pull apart the final strands. They split hard wood quicker than a hydraulic splitter and are impressive on knotty bits. I think there are 2 splitters available from hydrocut. One has a small screw and then there's the contractors which has a larger diameter cone.

Saying that I have a cheap £600 off eBay hydraulic splitter

Ok looking to get my first splitter as more wood is coming in than I expected (not complaining) but what would you recommend? Kinetic looks much better than hydraulic... rock machinery make quite a good one by the looks of it. Suggestions??

PTO or other?
