What part of 'don't engage the services of doorknockers' don't they understand? Watchdog have been telling them this for 20 years!

I despair sometimes. I really do.

Sometimes it is gullible but also some people trust others, so I guess it is a mixture of both.

I have been to quite a lot of jobs were the customer has been well and truly done over and stood there and thought " You IDIOT" but more often than not they have no clue about the cost or what is involved and just trust someone to do the job.

So really can they be to blame?

BTW I am speaking not of the cost of the job but the service provided.

i think if they wanted they get hold of him themselves... not really my place mate.

funnily enough though, at a customers house today in Bromley, they had his card/flyer. and they had seen the show

My God, he wasn't up for that '30 degree gob cut' dismantle you did was he?!
