A lot of thought must of gone on into choosing the right place , overhead cables supplying both houses has well has the street and BT lines , next door to a regular maintenance job of mine .Only just gone in last week and pic does not really show how close its to the Electric cable coming into house,. A Lombardy pop I think !

Probably planted to hide pole? I took down 3 eucs a few years ago that had been planted 2m from poles (one with transformer on) owner hadn't thought ahead[emoji849]

That's the rumour to hide to wonky pole but it will want topping next year lol.

Typical farmers trick, I know I'll plant a row of pops along the 33kv line & get the power line boys to sort my firewood for me.

 

But that's just daft.

 

I'd have to tell them if it was me, they may get you to replant it, or even fell it.
