As a weekend operator and only on the ground I m looking for a pair of type one trousers ,I have a pair of Oregon with all round protection but sometimes they are just too warm .So I have a budget of around £70 any recommendations please ????? Also how does sizing workout when ordering on line .I ve seen some Rocwood ones would they be suitable ? Thanks Ian

I wear Oregon Yukon when on the ground which is probably 75% of the time, mainly forestry they're surprisingly hard wearing, light and quite loose fitting so great mobility (although the smallest size they do is bigger than what I'd normally wear)

 

Surprisingly I have more damage on my Stein Kreiger climbing trousers, the only damage on the Oregons is a small hole worn in one pocket where I was carrying a penknife.

Just ordered a pair of Arbourtec breathflex, not too sure how good they are but hoping they are cooler than the Oregon ones as they made me sweat like mad!

get onto buxtons they have the boxers forester type a decent trouser that holded up a year and thing kere around 75 a pair they have stretch material as well boxer are the budget side of sip
