I'm currently with them. I asked them to send my policy documents by post but they never arrived.

Come renewal time i never got anything through so i rang up, they had sent two letters out apparently. Which said it was auto renewal and it would be taken on day x. Which was two days before i rang up so i got £700 quids worth of insurance with no quote.

Didn't have time to argue so learnt a lesson. Next day my new policy documents turned up....day after that the first renewal notice turned up next day the second..:cursing:

NFU are expensive but they are good.

I've had this type of thing more than once with car insurance.

it's pretty much a scam by *some* insurance companies where they say you haven't sent certain documents or got some details wrong, when you haven't, then they wait til you are past the 14 day period then say they've received them (if you've had time to dig them out and send them) but due to some detail e.g. your named driver'a license date being slightly wrong (they THEY intentionally? got wrong, not you), your quote has now shot up by 20 - 40 % and you can't cancel without penalty cos you have gone beyond your 14 day period.

These scum are as bad as common thieves ...

Recent experience with Adrian Flux

Two vans insured with them. On insuring the 2nd van they asked for documents “photo copy of photocard driving licence & proof of address”. Not a big issue although they should have this on file from my sprinter van which they insure. So sent a scanned copy of a bank letter and my photocard driving licence. A few days pass, email arrives “We still required copies of your photocard driving licence and proof of address”

Phone them up to see what’s happening apparently a dated letter from the bank isn’t enough proof of address despite the fact that the addresses on the photo card licence and bank letter match so send them an email with photocopy of a letter from HMRC addressed to myself. That’s all they asked for.

3rd email now arrives “Documents required!! Driving licence check codes photocopy of reverse of driving licence.

All the above and bearing in mind I already have a vehicle with them, never had points or convictions.

Has anyone had else had similar experiences from this company? or ever been asked for Driving licence check codes which you have to get from the DVLA??

You wait until you have to try to claim for a stolen vehicle, you will be lucky to receive 70% of the value (of you vehicle) you based your policy on even though they openly admit they cannot purchase a similar vehicle for the reduced sum of money they are willing to pay out (even though they accepted your valuation of the vehicle at the beginning of the quote and based their policy upon this value)....left us (a young couple with a 1 yr old child) without a vehicle for 10 months until I could afford to replace it. ...... adrian flux = shits.
