Pneumatic Grease guns

Gidday Guys

 

Since I've got a compressor in the shed these days is there anything to be gained by going to a pneumatic grease gun??

 

If so I know "cheap and good" don't usually reside together but is a there a pneumatic gun thats ok and not too pricey?

 

Any that are plain junk and should be avoided?

I've got one a cheap thing from toolstation does the job for me. I think it's worth it as you don't need both hands on the gun to work it.

It takes a bit of getting used to how much comes out with each press but it's fine once you've worked it out.

Use mine for greasing bushings only hate that it doesn't seal properly. Would not not buy one agan.

A farm I once worked on bought one. We discovered it could shoot a knob of grease 30 metres on full pressure, and popped out countless seals as said above, on the plus side it fitted on the 50 kg tub of grease so you could get round the bigger gear without having to fill up.

 

Fitted a pressure regulator to the air outlet, which was better
