Ok Eggs, man gets £70 per day, anything wrong with that?

Richie B, yer probably is slightly cheap but we dont make a habit of going out on splitting jobs every week. Your Thor drinks 8-12L a day??? I think the most we have burnt in a day is 5L max.

£80 a day & about a litre an hour when flat out.

Whatever anyone gets paid, it's never enough :-) unless you're a banker!

I've never really questioned it. Working it hard/full revs it'll use a whole tank in a half day. Thats 6.1l.

Probably get no more than 10 enquiries a year for splitting logs and end up doing most of them at those prices. Just adds a bit more income to the business. Last job was chainsawing and splitting about 10T mixed hard and soft wood from 6" to 24" diameter

Just wondering because I've just started mainly as an add on to the arb work but have started advertising it as a separate service

Pic was the first outing, 12hrs work but that includes picking up some from around the grounds & cross cutting some
