Had the good fortune to visit the garage where my friend has his new aquisition stored whilst they do a few jobs on it. It's a TVR Griffith from the mid 60s, single seater with a Ford 302 cubic inch V8 or a 5 litre in our terms. The sound is fantastic but unfortunately the video file I took is too big to upload!

The windscreen is from a Consul Stubby and the door handles are Austin (I think!). Gutted cant download the video with the engine running as it sounds amazing.

 

One or two of these still race at the Goodwood revival meeting near me in September . They run along side AC Shelby 7 litre Cobras , E types and the like . Wicked sound :biggrin:

It came with about 30 first place trophies Stubby and in its day used to spank Cobras!!! It has a Jerico racing gearbox which the garage are trying to revert back to standard as you have to be an extremely accomplished professional to use it. My mate is planning on doing hill climbs at Harewood near Leeds with it.
