The water was so clear you could see the bottom but if you look closly you can see the reflection of the trees behind me.

It's not really my country tbh. I live in Hitcham, which is ok if you like arable fields, heavy clay and apache helicopters.

Giles we had lunch at hall farm restaurant/cafe at Stratford st mary i came out stuffed. We liked it so much we are going back next month. That the one near bildeston?

Good choice David, I like Hall Farm place alot, the food's good and they cater for families / small kids, and there's enough space between tables so - other peoples conversations / kids can be annoying if they're too close!

 

Yes, Hitcham is between Bildeston & Gt Finborough, in fact that's a good description of the village - it's one of those places you drive through to get to somewhere else!
