Seriously glad I got this saw before it was too late; tempted to get another for when this one's had it.

Been ringing up some very hard oak today and what a dream! There is no way that my old Makita DCS7901 was as good as this; I reckon anyway.

Seems so light and with fantastic power and speed. Have 036 and had 066 before and now this a model I'd not had - I love it! This is with a 25" bar too - certainly no friday afternoon one this! Thanks Stihl (altho you need to get your a in gear re the MS200T).

Like mine too,the 460 is a joy to use, does like a bit of fuel but does a lot of work so thats ok.the 200 is a gutsy saw, just carb problems & exhaust bolts cant be undone without snapping them.

My 10+ year old 044 seems to have more power than my new 460?? Can that be right? Its been retired for a while but I've started usign it again in preference to the 460. Same size bars on each.

A couple of the guys i work for have 044 440's. They are great saws and so well balanced imo.
