  4. Read it three times. Failure of comprehension or intelligence. You’re going to have to sketch it please.

  6. Heres hoping that you get it sorted sooner rather than later. Ive rebuilt a few 4 strokes over the years but they have been old school carb engines or old school diesels. I think the issue with modern electronic engines is that you cant rely on one component being knackered, repair that and expect the rest to be OK. That short in the loom may have screwed the injector and possibly the ECU, and there may be other wiring issues. What I would do is rule out mechanical issue by performing a leak down test and oil pressure test, if that was good I would replace the wiring loom and get a specialist to test each electrical component. Oh, and maybe start a gofundme page Just out of interest whats the cost of a replacement engine?
  7. That’s a good idea, I’d need to get 3 extra pallets as I have 3 of the Euro pallets as a base but I have someone who could get me a couple no problem Thanks for the suggestion, cutting one sheet of A142 mesh in half would do front and back and as both you and Dan have pointed out you’d not be wanting something difficult to access

  9. I guess, we’ll have to eliminate the option of fixing/resetting the current one first. it’s okay, I’ll fix it one way or the other. I just thought people might be interested in the issues. The mechanic told me straight out that after some basic repair work they’d wash their hands of the engine.
  10. If its that bad cant you just swap the engine out for a different brand? Or are we talking mega silly money.
  11. That seems to be the bogey man of new vehicle owners.
  12. At least it doesn't have a wet belt...
  13. If it was a chipper I would be spitting feathers, like I did with the Forst. That thing put me in therapy.
  14. Actual footage of me losing it...
  15. The @Ty Korrigan scenario where I spend months chasing an answer till I eventually go clinically insane and end up standing outside a supermarket, shouting and hurling faeces at passers by.
  16. I find this entire Efi incompetance culture quite incomprehensible. It's a twin cylinder petrol engine not a Rolls Royce Merlin. The first Briggs Efi mechanic blamed a wire rubbed through and GM's installation. That wasn't the fault either. How hard can it be to fix ? They don't even need to dismantle anything to access the engine. With just two cylinders there cannot be many options in finding faults.
  17. Is the worst case scenario that one of the cylinders is shot? Or is it more like new engine time!
  18. Exactly, not the end of the world. I will figure a way to sort it.
  19. Two bottles of red and reconvene tomorrow.
  20. If I could I would. But as it stands it’s unsaleable.
  21. The antithesis of customary Dempsey resilience. Get shot, lest it beget other weaknesses.
  22. Two weeks notice for unpaid leave, sweet!
  23. Not that exciting anyway, it dies under strain.
  24. What is your company's policy on Disguised Employment?
