Husqvarna 545

Well after a lot of thought and scraping the pennies together I've gone and ordered a 545, hopefully this will be the only saw I'll need, logging for a stove and small felling, opinions welcome.

At least it is a very good saw - but it is hard to guess what you will need in the future!

I have the Jonsered version that compares to the 545, and it does well in 14-18" diameter wood.

I've got a. 545 and considering your stated needs, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Well saws here, used it a couple of times, well pleased, running it on Aspen and it's been flying through 14 " wood, not really tested its potential but at the moment couldn't be happier.

a good 50cc saw, will love the smaller bars, could probably run 18" on it but take it easy.

thinking 15" will have lovely balance for felling and brashing out. if your only felling small stuff..... perfect

Am sure you will be quite happy with it, HSS are hiring these machines in there shops.

I use an 18" bar on my 2252. I recently ran a 20" bar for a white oak I cut for firewood, and the saw did fine in the 18"diameter rounds.
