Hi all,

Just started a new site. Loads of timber to come out.

Took a very large pear tree out today

The butt is about 4' long and about 28" round although the heartwood is pulpy.

There are 3 lengths at 4mts long minimum dia. is 12" and a piece about 18" dia. that's about 5' long.

Also on site are 3 80' black pop's.

loads of very straight wood in it.

Anyone interested in taking it straight from site for milling.

Also, anyone have any idea what it's worth ?

Thanks on advance. Dave

I'm very interested in some of the pear, but trying to figure out how to do it.

I do come past about once a month, but unfortunately whilst I'm next up on Monday/Tuesday next week, I have to travel with a colleague this time and I don't think he would be very impressed!

How quickly does it need clearing, and is there any chance of storing a couple of 2m lengths of the pear until I can pick up?

Cheers

Alec
