Tipper vehicles

Time has come for me to expand the fleet and I'm wanting to by a tipper, possibly crew cab such as an LDV, Transit, Cabstar type truck. Obviously for arb work and needs to be reliable. If it could tow 1.6 t of trkd chipper and trailer might be a bonus.

I'm thinking spend around 10k plus vat mark(ish).

I also a run a Hi-lux for general ripping about and an old Landy for forestry type stuff.

Any suggestions? Your insights would be gratefully recieved!

Thanks Mr Ed.

So I either go for a 3.5 t tipper and also buy a road tow chipper or go for something bigger.

I currently only have a tracked chipper which I pull about on an Ifor GX85 plant trailer. Together they weigh about 1700kgs.

I've had a good look at the commercial tipper vans on offer. Are there any models to avoid or perhaps to recommend?

Isuzu or Cabstar nothing beats! the Cabstar will pull 2000kg legally all day long and the Isuzu will pull 3500 legally all day long! i've owned both, neither once broke down, no doubt i'll get another cabstar or Isuzu 3.5 ton tipper in the future..

3.5 ton Isuzu trcks have a gross train weight of 7000kg, 3.0L engine, and they're ultra relible, only downside is the cabs a bit tight for 3 big blokes
