A14 toll road

So it looks like the new part of the A14 around Cambridge will be a toll road. The talk is of a start date of 2016. What happens if the opposition win the next election, does the job still go ahead?

Now in theory I don't mind paying tolls (no choice when I worked abroad), if the roads are well maintained and free flowing. I use the M6 toll every time I go that way. The only difference with the A14 toll is that the proposal is to do away with the original fly-over in Huntingdon. So we will have to pay the tolls or go through the towns and villages.

Your thoughts please.
