Dumpy bags for dummies

Does anyone of you guys sell logs in dumpy bags? What size do you use, where do you buy bags from and @ what price? Thanks dan

I use old builders bags, half a cube. There are plenty of threads on here about them you just need to search. I'm sure someone will be along soon to tell you where you can buy them.

thanks, I googled these wholesalers they are able to put custom logo aswell, price range £2-3 a piece, but still wonder what size is most suitable for the job. dan

Note that builders bags are unsuitable for storing logs as the bags do not breath and the logs are likely to sweat and go mouldy.

 

Note also most builders bags are certified for one lift only so you may get in trouble if lifting them again....

I use the half m3 size 0.8x0.8x0.8 as I am getting old and cannot throw the bigger bags around plus the fact I try and sell IBC cages (1 m3) full of logs rather than bags and let the tractor do the hard work.

Is a standard builder's FIBC (don't ask me what the xxxx it stands for!) bag not 900 x900 x900? Ie 0.72 cubic metre.
