Just found a video from these guys on Youtube. Quite a neat setup to get serious cut capacity in a small package. I can't see why they don't use a normal guide bar though?

If the cut was clean enough it would be handy for squaring up gate posts and sleepers if you were milling :001_smile:

Looks quite flimsy if u ask me, probably ok for someone doing a few logs for themselves but I doubt it would last in a more commercial role where it's like to get battered a bit with constant tonnage going through it, and I'd say a chainsaw would be quicker anyway, for me that is...

Looks like it would last 5 minutes. Ok for a DIY log splitter, but that's about it
