Mobile card payment (world pay)

Anybody use them? Any problems? I've got to sign an 18 month contract with them so need to get it right. Thanks Mike

I wouldn't touch them.

There is a payment to return the terminal of around £150 even after the 18 months.

Also on a rolling contract of 18 months a time.

I just left them, but luckily was with cardsave who were taken over by them and got out cost free due to them trying to change our contract mid term.

I ended up with a decent deal from Barclays, there was better out there but the service has been far better and no crap hiding in the small print about canceling.

Best thing is to check and double check the small print, they try to get you when you leave.

When I was looking to move it was a toss up between Barclays and Sagepay, Barclays got it because their terms were best, 12 month contract to start, non rolling, with no machine collection charges, rates were better than anyone, but the minimum monthly merchant fee was higher (to us that didn't matter as it always costs us more than the minimum anyway)

We also had an issue with Worlpay not wanting to swap a faulty terminal without a major fight.

I'm with Cardsave and they are equally crap.

 

12 month rolling contract that you cannot get out of if it rolls on. Signal crap almost everywhere and more often than not I have to ask the customer to do a BACS transfer anyway.
