since steve mentioned these a while back and i think im going to get one, just something im unsure on with the rope guide, Do you need to have a eye on your rope to release the guide through the pully??? and will a 11mm climbing rope be suitable for it?? oh and also whats the best cord to use for the 11mm rope?? would 8 or 9 mm prussic cord do the job ok??

oh and one more thing what are the ART Positioner lanyard adjusters like??????

i use 11mm lines and they work great. an eye splice is best but in theory the retrieval ball can be girth hitched to the end of your line and should retreive fine....i might have a play sometime and let you know.

i use 8mm line although some do prefer 9mm or 10. i think you'll find the majority use 8mm for a v.t.

what 11mm line do you use? different cords work better on different ropes

i have an art positioner, big thumbs up from me
