Just found out a local C road is likely to be shut for the coming months due to unstable slopes. The road had 3 small slips last year in the storms and about 15 trees down on the same stretch of road. Due to the size of the lorries who use the road and the width of the road, the road has been shut until the banks are stabilised. It may only be a C road but it is extremely busy with local traffic.

Easiest way is to follow the diversion up/down the A350. Or use the A30 if coming from west or east. Its the slope next to the church which is moving. There is a public footpath which had apparently widened about half its length but the parishioners said they had done some work to make the path wider but that was on the bottom of the path.
