  1. Good morning! I am looking to get an experienced climber with a good work ethic to join our team in Wimbledon. We are an Arb Approved contractor that does work for Councils, Housing Associations, schools, and private clients. The ideal candidate will have CS30,31,38,39,41, First Aid, driving license, great working knowledge of crown reductions and dismantling. We have a company bonus scheme which pays out about £1000 a year and automatic overtime and time and half after working hours. Please get in touch if you need a change of scenery. [email protected] Many thanks, Tom
  2. Hello again tree people, Looking for a new self-employed groundsperson, or trainee climber for our team to work on a day rate basis, £80 to £100 depending on experience. We are a great company to work for, feel free to come for a paid trial day to find out for yourself. You will climb frequently if you are a climbing trainee with us. Please email me if interested with your CV or quick personal summary.... [email protected] Many thanks, Tom
  3. Hello everyone, I am trying to find two part time staff to work 3 days a week on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. This would suit a trainee level or experienced person who doesn't want to work full time. We are normally overwhelmed with work all summer and are seriously full now, so the 3 days a week is a minimum and a full week is quite likely. The positions will be at least 6 months and quite possibly permanent. We're a nice company to work for, literlally nobody here has ever taken someone's life or stolen a car and gone ram-raiding. Sometimes we just spend the day saving the lives of woodlice that have found themselves in a spot of peril. One of us is even a vegetarian and will only eat animals if they have died by misadventure. I will pay you £83 a day, which is based on a self-employed basis, so own PPE and climbing equipment. It's basically £22,000 a year if you were foolish enough to work without any days off. We usually do 5 to 20 hours of overtime at time and a half. So realistically your average daily pay will work out to about £95 and therefore a salary band of £24k. CS38 alone is an absolute minimum requirement, please do not apply if you cannot rescue someone from a tree. Please DO get in touch if the specifics of these positions don't quite meet your requirements, I want good staff and can be flexible. I look forward to hearing from you. Many thanks, Tom [email protected]
  4. Morning All, I got both my other staff from Arb Talk so I am reluctant to use other means, but I'm now not getting any CV's through, please come out of the woodwork, I will consider any experience level. We have several months of work to get through and I am looking for two committed and self-motivated staff who want to do some good Arboriculture. 1) 17-20k starting salary with increase after 6 months 2) 5 to 35 hours overtime a month at time and a half 3) Quarterly company group bonus scheme (profit based) 4) Growing Wimbledon based tree services company 5) Tree management services in London and across the UK - Microbee Please get in touch.... [email protected] Many thanks, Tom.
  5. Hello everyone, I have good news. We are a Wimbledon based company with Housing Association customers, managing agents and a growing domestic customer base. Through ArbTalk I have hired Tim and James, they both seem quite happy, they laugh, they climb trees, they eat moss, those sort of things. I have recently had to turn off the advertising because we were getting overwhelmed so it is time for a 2nd team. Tim and James are both climbers so I need a dedicated groundie and a new trainee climber, although I will definitely consider an experienced climber for one of the positions. Basically I need 2 more staff and could do with anyone with a good work ethic and a good attitude. You must have aerial rescue I'm afraid. We have a group company bonus scheme which is based on profit from the 4 Microbee companies, in the past it has been up to £1000 in a quarter, and these days will hopefully be back when we kick this recession. We work on a starting salary basis for about 3 months and then we will increase your pay once you have proved yourself. Please send CV's to [email protected] I look forward to hearing from you, Tom Evans Tree Team Manager.
  6. Hello everyone! We recently employed a climber who found my previous advert on Arbtalk, he's still here, and he doesn't look too miserable at all. He almost seems chirpy. I now need a trainee climber or groundsman to work with him, we WILL train you if you prove yourself and we think you won't immediately leave, this is not an empty promise. We're a pretty relaxed company undertaking all aspects of tree work, we just want to continue doing good work without any shouty bosses and such like. Microbee is a small company at the moment with a good amount of work. I'm looking forward to hiring a genuinely conscientious individual who wants an environment to grow into a good arborist. I look forward to hearing from you! Please send CV's to [email protected] or call 0208 540 9968. Cheers, Tom.
