  2. Morning everyone, I'm based in Kent, covering kent, sussex, Surrey and Hampshire. We are charging £12-15 per ton depending on clearfell or thinnings. Bunched according to bucking in the wood ready for forwarding. £55-65 per hour, again depending on thinning or clearfell and distance to the landing, bunched into a trailer or bin or to a central landing. But Id prefer to clearfell and bunch to a landing rather than thin. Transport costs depending on distance and job size. Email me at [email protected], or call 07790032573, prices exclude VAT. Kind regards David

  9. Evening all, I have looked at a few trees in Marlborough and was thinking of getting in either a harvester or an excavator with a grab (big-ish that will weigh 20t and lift 2t) Can someone quote me for a days work with machine and driver. It would be pollarding 6 willows and either stacking them or putting them on a fire, there is very good access for large machinery, or if anyone has any other ideas that would be appreciated. Cheers Moosie
  10. Hi folks, I understand Biomass Equipment Ltd are organising demonstrations this week of the Plaisance Gallotrax 400 at the following locations. I just had an invite to attend the Berkwell, Coventry and Swansea dates but the invite says its ok for anyone interested to come along is very welcome so long as they contact the Biomass sales team and turn up with PPE consisting of hard-hat, hi-viz, safety boots and safety glasses. From what I understand the machine is a track mounted (14t) biomass forestry/scrub harvester.
