  1. Cheers Spud. Yeah it's a big bore, i bouhht it from a guy that had it ported, its been running for years....checked the obvious stuff like the inlet and impulse and can't see anything. What would you advise to buy for pressurre/vac?
  2. Got a ported 660, was running fine then after a few minutes cutting it would start to race, am I correct in saying this sounds like a seals gone? When adjusting the Carb/low/high it's difficult to get it to any sort of usable speed. I've checked the air intake boot and the seals on the carb which appear to be ok, can anyone recommend a pressure/vacuum gauge that would work? Any help is welcome. Thanks
  3. Trees gubbed. Sorbus notoriously struggle to compartmentalise any wounds, especially big header cuts like this one. Best thing you can do is try and get someone to selectively prune new growth (which will be numerous) further down the line and hope rot pockets aren't too bad
  4. Wouldn't imagine poplar would be any good, it's super light weight. You're better using dense hard woods
  5. The damage calculated won't just be for the removal of the tree, they may end up having to replace "like for like" depending on if it has a high amenity value. You're best to consult a qualified arborist.
  6. Trees done, it might not know it yet. I'd be claiming against the contractor
  7. Whats this?
  8. Silver leaf is uncommon in a young tree, usually see it in older trees that have been pruned
  9. Wilting via heat/water stress, have they been like that for long? Other option could be Canker of there's any signs?
  10. Bit much. Pipe down
  11. 0800-14/1500 job and knock
  12. Its initially a job for a structural engineer, with a write up from an arborist at a later date
  13. Retain the trees where you can. It would be good if you could keep us updated, see what happens
  14. We run everything through gmail/workspace/calender, we don't have any integration for invoicing and use QB separately. Using Google makes everything pretty slick. We hardly phone/text quotes through to clients but send quotes out via email, then you can just add them to Google calender as they accept. Dont know if this is the best way always looking to speed up the process like yourself
