Cashflow (or lack of) kills businesses just as quickly as lack of profit.

Love how you weigh in on stuff you know next to nothing about.
That could be the new title of the Covid thread.

As above, you are going to need to put some money into the aesthetic design of those bars; those prototypes look a bit home made.

This has never been more important for me, as my saws get precious little use these days. When I do fire them up though they are right on the money.
I don't think I ever had any engine issues with any of my saws in the whole time I ran Aspen.
Exactly the same for me. Aspen has saved me from selling a lot of machinery. I couldn't keep my full compliment of kit if it had to sit with pump fuel in it going stale. For example, I have a 357 xp, a 550xp, a 260 and a 261 in my collection. Those 4 basically do the same job, and just one could do everything I need of that collection. Aspen means I can keep them all.

Sheep, wolves and sheepdogs, I guess you nailed ur colours to the mast hun🙄
We all play to our strengths. I'd be next to useless on a battlefield. However, I'd be exceptionally useful sat at a desk somewhere safe, telling the highest bidder how best to control both the wolves and the sheep.

It's the rough with the smooth argument, if I was from a war torn country I would want to stay and make it better and not flee.
Fair play to you; you are a better man than me. First sign of trouble and I'm on the first plane, boat, or whatever out of here. I may or may not be screaming like a girl whilst making the arrangements.

Sounds like its a good job you retired!
I was only ever playing at it. I don't think suggesting the use of a glove is bad advice though.

FYI, I hate wearing gloves whilst working, but always now wear a glove on my left hand whilst using a silky (with my right). I've got more scars on my hands and wrists from a silky than absolutely any other tool i've ever used.

The thread is about news, I repeated what was said in the news, you tried to belittle it without knowing what I was talking about. I’ll say again, strange for someone who knows what other people are thinking before they do.
You seriously think that I read your post and presumed you were using those words for yourself? Decent and law abiding? Didn't I read that you were sacked from your job as a bin man or cleaner (sorry, I don't know exactly what you do) recently for smoking weed?

Take a joke man, bloody hell.

It’s an odd one.
Whats stopping the unscrupulous from using hundreds of pounds worth of Aspen for three months, then saying it’s not for them, getting a good deal of their money back having
A. Never intended to change over.
B. Used it for years anyway.
I suppose there are some filtering processes in place.
If terms and conditions applied they would have mentioned them in their first post. Might have to get me a few hundred litres of free Aspen. 😁

Okey dokey.
I talk for the decent, law abiding citizens of this country… do you really want to hear this shit? Rhetoric, nothing more, nothing less. Scurge and a invasion. Get a grip!
What makes you think we want you as our spokesperson? To be honest, I think we can do better, a lot better. 😁

I've always found Aspen's presence on this forum to be a little lacking. I'd be very interested to know who posts on their behalf on here. The replies always seem a bit too 'corporate' to be genuine, but a bit too amateurish to be written by the marketing department. It's a pretty good demonstration of how not to use social media.
It's a good product; I use it myself, However. I can't imagine anyone is going to be persuaded to give it a try based on the original post in this thread. I realise I'm probably not going to get a genuine reply to this query, but I'd love to chat to someone about it, and find out why they post in this style.

Providing you are happy for the tree to be removed, if they want it gone, then it should be done entirely at their cost including any remediation and putting right of boundaries, patio space etc etc
Is that in any way based on fact, or have you just made it up?

Rishi Sunak plans to replace our cash with official digital currency
WWW-DAILYMAIL-CO-UK.CDN.AMPPROJECT.ORG
In what Treasury insiders say would be the biggest upheaval in the monetary system for centuries...Well that didn’t take long did it, digital currency. How long before they start to try and squeeze cash out the loop, use it or lose it as once it’s gone it’s a game changer for all the wrong reasons. All the normal piss taking tin foil moonbat merchants, this a conspiracy theory then ??.
I'm not usually a fan of your paranoid 'oh my God........PANIC', we are all buggered now' outlook on life / the news, but I have to agree, if a digital government controlled currency comes into force we are all buggered. Actually, worse than buggered; life as we know it will be walking a very thin and wobbly tightrope.

I can only vouch for the Stihl GTA26 as that is the one we sell since it was introduced a couple of years ago. Never had one back with an issue and everyone who has made a purchase that we have seen since during the course of our business have said how pleased they are with it and how it out performed their expectations.
If anyone is unsure of buying, then I direct them to this video of this guy who tests all the Stihl cordless stuff before going to full market launch- always ends in a sale for us.
Haha. I can't watch that, the bloke's a moron (and that's coming from a man with 2 young daughters, who's been subjected to both Blippi and Mr Tumble on a regular basis).

I'd not want to go against the advice of a bloke who has actually seem the tree. Having said that, how qualified was he? The tree seems to be dealing with the problem as it sees fit, but it's impossible to give a definite yes or no from photos.
Don't fall for the NPTC qualified line; I could train my Mrs to pass most NPTC units in about a week. Does the guy have any academic Arb qualifications?

Fair comment. I had one once but found it a bit too big for up a tree, on the ground would be a different matter though
Yep, agree, Zubat for climbing. However, for the OP, the Ibuki is the winner, imo. It's hard to describe, but for a job for which you'd really rather be using a chainsaw, the Ibuki slogs through a bit better. It's something to do with the way the end of the handle bends round a little more I think. It's almost as if you can push it further away, and then pull it back with your stronger fingers, rather than hold the handle more traditionally. Sorry, crap explanation I know.

Ive always used the Ibuki. It's a little longer than the longest Zubat, and would easily do what you need. I've only ever had the old one though, the new ones are in a red scabbard.

Agreed. Still worth keeping an eye on though, imo.
