  1. Ran good today! Not a real test yet but definitely up on power thanks
  2. It started and runs fine havnt put it into wood yet 🤞
  3. Iv only gone and done it! Now to reset the m tronic
  4. I have read TG1 and it is fine to use the other end of the rope and only one system needs to reach the floor btw
  5. And do I need press fluid to re coat the pipes and solenoid?
  6. What is the part that is circled in red bottom right? It seems to be attached when I try and pull the carb out? do the wires just pull out is attaching the throttle and choke linkages a nightmare? thanks
  7. Ok thanks loads for the help. I always see you two on the forums handing out the advice thanks
  8. Ok. And after as long as I plug everything back in as it was it will be fine after a m tronic reset
  9. So remove the yellow bits. Why are the red parts and do I remove those ? just saw you link the tech note I’ll check that thanks!
  10. So I need to take the throttle and choke linkages off and pull the carb out of the housing and then do it all? As I can’t reach the little torx screw otherwise
  11. Yea I see it now it’s black. I’m not sure I’m going to be able to do the solenoid looking at it. I can’t find any videos or the service manual for the m tronic saw online
  12. Looks like I actually have a white solenoid? I will replace anyway but it looks like I need to remove the handle housing to do this? 😬
  13. I think I will replace the solenoid. I have a new spark plug in and hopefully a new solenoid will do it. I’m not song. To attempt the diaphragm or wiring or gauze thanks loads!
  14. After doing a load of reading a while ago I know my m tronic needs to ‘m tronic upgrade’ which was the fuel filter and solenoid
  15. Yea my solenoid is black. Also read about this newer solenoid and am keen to replace mine. do I need to take the carb off? do I need press fluid ?
  16. It was white and I replaced with the orange after reading about the updated filter I would like to do the fuel lines and solenoid and the gauze and diaphragm but I’m just unsure I can do it and might screw it all up. Iv been doing all the things I can manage after reading the service manual but these bits I’m unsure
  17. Yea thanks mate. I don’t have any real idea what I’m doing I’m going off the service manual and troubleshooting from there. I did think it was a fuel issue. I replaced the pick up body and that made a difference but next would be to clean the gauze strainer and the pump diaphragm but thinking that may be trickier than I can manage being inexperienced Have been using company fuel until recently which is always dirty so once this is sorted I’m hoping it will be fine as I’m using my own fuel now
  18. Yea thanks for the support Iv ordered 1201 i am replacing due to this damage that I believe is causing my saw to have poor power and not so great acceleration I think I caused the damage myself when I removed the flywheel for maintenance previously to this round of flywheel changes am I on The right track? thanks
  19. That’s weird. That’s the original flywheel with 1201 and has 2 magnets on it but the one I ordered is 1202 and o it has 1 magnet
  20. This is my original And the new one I bought ends in 1202 i have an m tronic saw. My original flywheel has 2 magnets
  21. I need part number 1145 400 1201
  22. Ok so I have installed a non m tronic flywheel they didn’t have the exact same as my original one in stock so I thought they had discontinued maybe so if I get the flywheel with the original part number it will be fine
  23. This is the new flywheel installed
