  1. Are the Echo batteries backward compatible? Had a wee Echo topping saw, loved its idle burble. Gonna splash for the Husq battery but need to know which is tooled in more. Gone are the days when ye need to buy a battery for each & every tool. That was so scammy. Hopefully that made sense ?
  2. Client says its an old MOD radio shack. Sort of thing that would get dropped by Chinook on a mountain. Full insulated, sound proof. He had it run in for an AirB&B but ended up drumming in it cuase his wife kicked him out into it....that''s all I know Khriss. Some clients are total yaps. He is a ret Royal Marine Sgt so I won't be calling him out ?
  3. Yup, standard section takedown with a sketchy drop zone, but how fking wierd is that right hander in the last photie... ?
  4. It's still got a few dangles in it ?
  5. How are ye finding the batteries over trad 2 strokes? There's all this blah blah from Husq & Sthil, but on the ground, in the real world. It's the way to go in the long run but I will miss that pull cord & burble. How is the torque?
  6. A rare shot of my actual bathwater leaving the system. ?
  7. True enough....not dissing yer skills. Ye just can never tell from a one dimensional flat photo woody. Ever put a Dutchman in to turn it where ye want it to go? It's an art. Shrubbage aside. 'Hole in shrub border'
  8. Last photie. Looks a bit sketch to me woody. Is that bucket holding the whip? Nylon line...yup, lifted marine inboard engines out on that stuff but it can melt...why not fell it toward the open ground from the lateral?
  9. Wee bit of Sunday 30ft Cherry managment. Highland councils idea of tree management on left in both shots. They infuriate me. Arb mismanagent everywhere, amature cuts everywhere & killed one off by 'silver leaf'. Boils my piss.

ANY INFORMATION GREATLY APPRECIATED. POLICE HAVE BEEN INFORMED. Contact Adam Ward on FB
  11. Is that the bridge & opera house area to the left in background? Worked out that way once. Climbing team of NZ, Aussies & us Scots...mental laughter days & nights. Top shelf craic.
  12. Dancer - spanky new Protos 'Dragon'...todays job...sorting the 'airwave' com channels, so no more picking yer nose & not looking up when I'm notching. ?
  13. Todays job? Left my hardcore groundies cleaning up a big beech, fired one, & went chillaxing with fresh ground coffee & essential ARB in the garden. 'Cutting edge' reading.
  14. Easy lift & shape today to resume path access. Increasing light transmission & biodiversity strength to areas directly under & surrounding canopy cover.
  15. My unsackable groundie takes his PPE seriously
  16. Big triple finished up today & had a Ninja dance-off before grinding it.
  17. Concur on Macrocarpa Mick. Strapping it is putting a tissue on a broken limb imh. It's weight could be offset, brought way back & let it go epicormic...
  18. Bit of a roadside safety job today. Storm damaged & precariously delaminated codominant 40 footer. Swifty in & out...
  19. Sundays child is finishing the free community primary shcool job. All trees made safe, ground & logging cleared, crossed & diseased limbs cleared, old, horribly amature cuts corrected & two-step, tree stress hugely reduced, epicormic growth rectified & eye level hazards cleared. There will be much healthier growth from now on & equally, the wee hoodlums can run around in there safely
  20. Bleh...Yews as hedging...just dealt with 40mtrs of this for a client. Put in as hedging 15+ years back. Tickled by a homeowner maybe 8 years ago...Nightmare to clean up & reshape. Like having a fight inside a spiders web not tall enough to climb, not behaving like a tree. Only plus side is I smelled of resin so long I didn't need a bath for at least a week.
  21. Wee community spirited freebie for the village primary school today. Made safe & we will turn it into a raised platform, pirate ship or something with big mooring ropes. Local 'authority', Highland council, left this tree in the play area as an impalement hazard. What is it they are an authority on again? Cuase it's no ecological tree managment or children...
