Been out this afternoon, pushing snow about, in the quarry in the village. We try to get it out of the way before the lorries try and run on it, hopeless trying to move when it's been compacted. My younger son was out with the tractor and plough clearing the two other quarries to the south of us

Ah, come on, if you're a pro you'll have a really long extension from B&M bargains or The Range. They have some professional hand forks too. But they don't sell replacement chickens unfortunately 😖

Hotel Schindler, Svitavy, Czech Republic. Got back to the hotel and put the TV on and saw the plane going into the tower, didn't realise straight away that it was the twin towers, thought it was the same plane from different angles.

This twit, goes by the name of Yogi, escaped from the sewage works in Ambleside a couple of weeks ago. I've been letting him run loose, as I thought it was a secure compound, for the last 12 months or so. But he must have found a hole in the fence and took the opportunity to go and play with other dogs in the park. Not a care in the world, he didn't even look guilty when I tracked him down, his playmate for the afternoon was Spaniel.😖
