  1. easier if I just take a photo... as with a good few of the questions on this course I find it difficult figuring out what i'm being asked to do. Question 1 for example - inspect a tree and answer bullet points with my findings, or as the question states, define and explain the bullet points?
  2. Currently studying ABC level 2 with HCC and have come to halt with unit 5. The questions/requirements in learning outcome 1 don't really make much sense to me and the literature provided is all over the place. Even with books and internet searches I'm struggling to find enough relevant info the answer the questions. Anyone else currently doing the same course finding the same?
  3. Hi, following a change in career, I am newly qualified with CS30/31 certificates and looking to begin work as a groundsman. With my sights set on undertaking my CS38 Ariel rescue course as soon as possible, I am also first aid at work trained, hold a MEWP licence and have experience towing up to 750kg MAM. I currently live in Winchester but willing to relocate for the right position. Preferable areas of work would be Hampshire and Wiltshire. Admittedly I have little experience except for some work experience with a local firm, however I am no stranger to hard work and long days. Very keen to learn and progress I am willing to do what it takes to become a successful Arborist. Please contact me for further information or if you would like to be sent a copy of my CV. Thanks Mark

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.

See you inside.
