Hi jase
hope all good and things ok workwise, just a quick question..I have a Evo165p on order and just switched the colours around to the main colour being green instead of black...basically how difficult would it be to have the fold down discharge shoot fitted to the 165p?

Hi jase hope all good with you buddy during these shity difficult times?Anyway want some advise,I have been working as normal and on Saturday I had a biggish job taking out a 10ft hedge which was as wide so lots of brash and branches to chip.
about an hour into using the Chipper all of a sudden mass’s Of white smoke comes bellowing out the exshaust and I mean loads, any way shut the refs down and it cleared and was fine but 10mins later it did it again and once more after that...should I be worried and any idea what it could be? No issues with engine and seems to be fine.
many Thanks
Wayne

Hi Wayne ,
It could just be the high pressure fuel pump.
If it's generally running ok then I still maintain to stick with it and just monitor it , if it gets worse or you're overly concerned then please contact Spencer and see how he wants to deal with it and ask as to the availability of a loan machine..
Cheers.
Jase.

Wayne ,
Can you email ?
I know you can..
Email Spencer and see what he thinks ?
Personally if it was me and the oil level is fine and its not using oil and it's running fine , I'd carry on and just monitor it...
The only issue we've has with those engines has been with the high pressure fuel pumps and they just run crap when the pump is failing.
Difficult to start too..
Maybe you're just worrying too much ?
Jase.

Hi Wayne , Yes I'm fine thanks mate , I hope you're well ?
Unfortunately I've been furloughed so I'm very limited as to what I can do to help , especially with the engine on your chipper. Correct me If I'm wrong but I think it's the 150P with the Briggs EFI engine ?
I would suggest , if you haven't already done so , checking the engine oil level and air cleaner for cleanliness ?
If these are ok , try contacting GreenMech and you'll need to speak to Spencer Southall to see whether he could plug in the diagnostics to get a better idea of the problem ?
He's a petrol engine man anyway so may have a better idea than me ?
If you can't contact him by phone you could email him at :
All the best Wayne..

Hello Jase,
I'm think I'm going to need to fit a different end to the exhaust if I am to install the spare wheel carrier.
If I turn it downwards, I'll risk scorching or worse what ever surface I'm on.
Googling ain't coming up with owt sadly.
Got any ideas?
Also, what is required in terms of stop switches on the French model and how much are they from G.M?

Hello Jason,
I need to organise a quadchip flywheel axle replacement.
Are there any exchange units available?
If not, how best to get ours to G.M?
ALSO...
How much if G.M does the job for me...? (properly with new bearing and like WHATEVER!)
Still not out of the merde but holding my own against the wrath of the perfidious French git.
Regards
Stuart

Hi Stu.....I'm on holiday this week but I'm fairly sure a new shaft is in the region of £375 plus fitting which is approx 3 hours labour @£60 per hour..
There probably is a service exchange flywheel assembly ready for despatch but that would be on the understanding that you returned yours, why don't you bring it over yourself and come and have a cuppa..?
Probably best to email 'Heather' in the parts dept for an accurate price, think it's '[email protected]'
Its good to hear that you're doing ok though mate.......!
