  2.

a compilation video from tree work this year to feature the
Full reach and Big Boss chainsaw lanyards from Reecoil.
this is a non paid friendly endorsement by me to assist a fellow climber Dan Dass
    in his new business venture.
disclaimer ( I did get a T-shirt and a couple of new lanyards)

    Another ace vid. Thanks.

They them xtra big x rings your using? ( can someone remind me where to get them pre spliced into a deadeye?)

Also was that branch on fire? Wtf!

You show a split in the tree but couldn't tell where about it's was height wise ?

    thank you billpierce,

The Beast size X rings are ducks nuts for big stuff - both the bend radius and the omni directional rigging angles .

    - XTRA LARGE 38X28

the burning limb was the beehive getting swiftly taken care of by the ground guys .

    about 50 feet

Great vid, tricky looking balancing of horizontals.

    Thankyou Mick,

if you have had the pleasure of cutting lemon scented before you would appreciate the unique weight and density of this misbegotten timber.

crane op and dogman were quite surprised - I laughed , good times.

Expertly done as always! .Beautifully filmed too.

    thank you silky fox,

the contractor and I agreed due to the inclosed nature of the tree and the limited access that the crane was the only way to fly.

ironically I had pruned the whole tree three months before the customers decided to go ahead with the removal.

  7. I'm ok thanks, Ben. Glad to hear things are going good for you mate. How tall do you think the red gum was ?

we measured it at 48.3 mtrs height and 7.63 mtrs around at 1 meter off ground level.

  8. Pruning vid says unavailable here mate ?

Watched the previous one though. Good work.

How's it going there ? Still sub contracting or ?

really - that blows , I paid music bed reasonable coin for the copyright use of the music ,

thank you for letting me know I will have a look into it.

still subbying but at half my own work and half others ,

the last two videos are jobs I quoted for my business Astons Arborists .

works quietened down but steady and the winter weather has kicked in but Im trucking on for now thank you for asking.

    how about yourself?

  9. Great video Ben. Those Eucs look so much fun!!! 🖒

    thankyou SamTree,

apologies for the late reply - feel very rude in taking so long to get back to you.

    :blushing:

been busy like an arse kicking olympic contender.

  10. Can you take a picture when you get a chance mate, never easy to see in the vid

that is the mountain bike tyre tube on the left and the zip tie version on the right

the fixed eye still attaches in the middle hole of the Hitch pulley

  11. Nice video. Whats the idea of the rings above the hitch?

    thankyou breffni,

the ring above the hitch is an idea I stole from Jesse Coleman,

it acts as a heat sink to stop burning your fingers when bombing out and lets you index your hand on the hitch while stopping the gloves ( for some climbers) being dragged into the hitch.

apparently it does the glove thing with the zigzag as well.

    Ben
