  3. Hi All Bite late to this, over the years I ran 4 mk1 550, in warm weather all 4 did not run well ,if you run them you would have noticed how husqvarna tried to keep the heads cool by keep cut away at the top plastic casing on the side, the original was solid ,as time went on various bits cut away of the plastic casing to try to cool them, Now the mk 11 that's a different machine no problems with them full of power run well
  4. The loader should work out of the back end ,not a separate pump, as for the 3 point linkage, you should be able to get loads of bits on online, once your removed the compressor, which i think , will be held on with brackets, that how a mates of mine was, when we took it off.
  5. Check first with the local LPA Best to check with the local LPA with the permission as often various condition are on sites before works can start.
  6. I was insured with NFU for years (14 years), then the height restriction came , had to look elsewhere now with trust, went back to the NFU last year to see for a quote and said no don't insure tree surgeons any more. due to height restriction. When i was with the NFU always very good to deal with.
  7. I would think, again yes, we are involved with a caravan holiday site at the present time (Norfolk) and felling over the 5 m3 with a felling licence due to the volume, hope that helps
  8. Hi , i think you will find most household insurance will not cover the trees unless stated, had to deal with many in the past, the most common tree insurance with property was the NFU, but not sure if this still happen unless the insurance companies are informed.
  9. Hi, 20 odd years ago my father in law used a product called cutless on conifers, it works amazing well, as sprayed some , but left a section of hedge and difference was remarkable, but to help you now , i don't know as you can't get it any more, i don't think.
  10. Hi , sure it's not a clump planting, seen those in past when two or three plants planted together many years ago mainly Beech, have had to deal with a couple of mature one which decided to unwind themselves, really interesting to take down tension and compression all over the place
